As a leading builder in commercial fitouts across Melbourne, MRC Constructions completed the Metro Literature Lane Refurbishment in a live retail setting. The project involved a complete upgrade of all existing finishes and fixtures within an operational, heritage-listed building.

Works were carefully staged and completed across day and night shifts, allowing the store to continue trading while maintaining program efficiency and site safety. This coordinated approach minimised disruption to staff and customers throughout construction.

The scope of works included the removal and replacement of existing shopfitting equipment, installation of new polished concrete flooring, construction of upgraded office spaces, and a full renewal of internal finishes.
