BWS Batched Refurbishments Tasmania

MRC Constructions were engaged by Endeavour Group as Principal Contractor to deliver a batched retail construction programme across four BWS liquor retail locations in Tasmania. This programme supports Endeavour Group’s ongoing investment in updating their BWS store network to align with their latest design specifications.

Works across each store included updated electrical services, interior finishes, refrigeration, signage and associated building works. MRC scoped and delivered each refurbishment to a consistent standard across all four locations. As a result, customers experience a uniform, refreshed store environment across the Tasmanian BWS network.

All four sites required full trading operations to continue throughout construction. Live retail environments present unique logistical challenges. Therefore, MRC implemented careful programme sequencing, close coordination with store management, and proactive stakeholder communication. Consequently, disruption to customers and staff was kept to a minimum at every stage.

MRC’s client-side project management and construction management services ensured each store was delivered on programme and to the required quality standard. Furthermore, our team maintained a consistent focus on client outcomes from scope development through to handover.

This project demonstrates MRC’s capability in retail construction across Tasmania — managing complexity across multiple live sites while delivering quality outcomes on time.
